The time limit in Reading section is quite different compare to Speaking and Writing sections. Instead of having a time limit for each question, you’ll only have one timer to answer all the question in Listening section so time management is essential. Overall, you’ll have 32 to 42 minutes to answer all Listening questions.

Listening

The time limit in Listening section is similar to Reading section where all the questions, except for the Summarize Spoken Text, are using only one timer. For 22 to 28 mins, you need to finish answering all the remaining questions after the Summarize Spoken Text questions. The twist here in Listening section is the remaining time spent in answering the Summarize Spoken Text will be added to the 22 to 28 mins time limit for the rest of the questions. For example, if you have two Summarize Spoken Text questions (total of 20 minutes) and you only use a 6 minutes each (total of 12 minutes), the remaining 8 minutes will be added to the 22 to 28 minutes.
